Tailored specifically for girls aged 11 to 14 in marginalised communities in Sri Lanka, this innovative solution is testing the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology into STEM Education.

This initiative combines IoT-based learning with a curriculum delivered in local languages as an extra-curricular activity, ensuring accessibility, engagement and evaluation.

The locally co-designed and localised approach of the curriculum addresses linguistic and cultural barriers that often hinder girls from fully engaging in STEM education.

By utilising IoT sensors, the program introduces interactive and practical hands-on learning experiences, making scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical concepts more tangible, engaging and applicable.
