Participatory Policy Through Design Thinking

Insights from FIT-Funded SMO, Bhutan Canada Foundation and their local partner

FIT’s Community of Practice shares knowledge and lessons learned from their testing work to build collective capacity and avoid duplicating testing failures.

This document outlines how as part of their FIT-funded project in Bhutan, Bhutan Canada Foundation and their partner tested the innovative design thinking (DT) infused model of policy deliberation that engages unheard citizens like vulnerable women, youth and persons with disabilities (PWD) in shaping policies related to social protection.
